About the show:

Wanton is a word with many meanings. It means, abandoned, cavalier, full of life.

British-Gayanese storyteller TuuP embodies Africal oral tradition. His stories are anything but childish! TuuP brings stories and legends suitable for adults, the ones that preserve their dark and raw elements: lust, murder, violence, struggle for power. The show is accompanied by enchanting sounds of darbuka and percussion instruments, making the stories ever so real.

Bio:

TuuP is a renowned storyteller. He has been telling traditional stories for over 35 year, appearing at International storytelling festivals from Uk, Europe, Asia, Africa, USA and Iran just to name a few. TuuP is also lead vocalist in the cutting edge music group, Transglobal Underground.

Rav Neiyyar, a tabla and Indian Dhol drumer also plays in the group Transglobal Underground. Rav is a very highly sort after musician playing with Bollywood Brass from the Uk along with many other bands. Rav Neiyyar is also a DJ playing and many an Indian wedding celebrations.
