About the talk: Let’s talk about stories of struggle and political upheaval. How far do we go to obtain justice, and what is the price that has to be paid? This talk will be joined by Katz Laszlo, a journalist who is researching abortion rights of women in war zones.
Bio: Katz Laszlo is a roaming European who calls Avoncliff, Barcelona, and Amsterdam home. She spent three years sciencing and storytelling in New York City. She is freelancing for podcasts & radio documentaries, including The Europeans Podcast & BBC World Service. She was part of the New Creatives, a BBC Arts & Arts Council initiative for young artists across the UK. As a member of Collectief Walden, she makes theater about climate change, and the way humans interact with our fellow species. She is currently in Ukraine, researching abortion rights of women in war zones.
