Filth is a play about the abuse of power, drugs, and just about everything. Detective Sergeant Bruce Robertson is not happy. With a racially motivated murder to solve, his dependencies on drugs, alcohol & sex, and a tapeworm that has a bigger appetite than him, can Bruce turn it all around and win back his wife and daughter in time for Christmas?

Jake W Francis is an award-winning actor from Reading, England. In 2017 he founded Skin & Bone Theatre, producing & performing in their debut show Filth which has played to sold out audiences and rave reviews in London and Edinburgh. Jake’s credits range from classical to contemporary theatre, and in 2015 he was a winner of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s monologue competition.
