Leo africanus is a musictheatreproduction by the Amsterdam Andalusian orchestra about the life of significant figure Leo Africanus. He needed to leave Granada (1492) at the age of ten. This situation had impressed him and meant that he was on the road for the rest of his life. Three actors (Adam Kissequel, Dwight Breingburg, Abdelkarim El Baz) tell Leo's stories and imagine the conversations with the pope. The will be accompanied by musicians from the Amsterdam Andalusian Orchestra.
